The upcoming installment in the Jurassic World franchise is titled “Jurassic World: Rebirth,” not “Jurassic World 4: Extinction.” Scheduled for release on July 2, 2025, this film is set five years after the events of “Jurassic World: Dominion” (2022). The narrative follows a team led by ex-CIA operative Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson) and paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis (Jonathan Bailey) as they embark on a mission to extract DNA from three massive prehistoric creatures. Their goal is to develop a groundbreaking medical treatment, but unforeseen challenges arise when they encounter a shipwrecked family on a secluded island inhabited by mutated dinosaurs.

Directed by Gareth Edwards and penned by David Koepp, who also wrote the original “Jurassic Park” (1993), the film introduces a fresh ensemble cast, including Mahershala Ali as ship captain Duncan Kincaid and Rupert Friend as pharmaceutical representative Martin Krebs. Filming locations spanned Thailand, Malta, and the United Kingdom.
