Reacher is a high-octane action crime series developed by Nick Santora for Amazon Prime Video. Based on the popular Jack Reacher novels by Lee Child, the series stars Alan Ritchson as the titular character, Jack Reacher—a former U.S. Army military policeman who roams the country as a drifter, solving crimes and serving his own brand of justice.

Season Summaries
Season 1
The debut season is adapted from Killing Floor (1997), the first novel in the Jack Reacher series. Reacher arrives in Margrave, Georgia, only to be caught in a deadly conspiracy involving corrupt local lawmen and a counterfeiting ring. What begins as an ordinary visit quickly escalates into a fight for survival against powerful enemies.
Season 2
In Season 2, based on Bad Luck and Trouble (2007), Reacher reconnects with his former MP Special Investigations team to seek revenge for the murder of one of their own. As they dig deeper, they uncover a massive conspiracy tied to a shady tech company and an arms dealer with dangerous intentions.
Season 3
Adapted from Persuader (2003), the third season follows Reacher as he goes undercover to infiltrate a ruthless criminal network in order to rescue a DEA informant. Along the way, Reacher faces an old adversary, Quinn, and uncovers a maze of lies, betrayals, and violence that will put his skills to the ultimate test.
Reception and Production
While Reacher has received a range of mixed reviews, Season 3 is generally considered an improvement over Season 2, though it doesn’t quite match the intensity and appeal of the first season. Despite this, the show was renewed for a fourth season in October 2024. In addition, a spinoff series titled Neagley is currently in development, promising to expand the Reacher universe with more action and intrigue.
